Kerianne Krause, Building Independence Together
I’m willing to give advice on:
Building Independence Together opened in 2016 with 5 clients and 2 employees serving local families in need of treatment for their children who have autism. Three years later we now employ over 30 people and serve 70 families. BIT has also expanded to provide afterschool care for children with autism, as well as an inclusive preschool readiness program for individuals with autism and neurotypical peers. BIT also puts on a summer camp for individuals with Autism in the summer. BIT is one of the only companies in the area that takes Medicaid funding for services, allowing us to serve a vastly underserved population.
