Brenda Workman, Charleston Perfect Homes, LLC
I am passionate about economic and community growth, as well as business development and job creation as well as real estate sales and development. People consider her an expert in Economic Development and GIS. What does that mean? She was part of the team that brought BMW to South Carolina. Today, that has meant 9,000 jobs that didn’t exist 20 years ago. When it comes to GIS (Geographical Information Systems), it’s a computer program that combines maps with data. Brenda used her expertise in GIS to help Oklahoma City attract Dell Computer and create 3,000 new jobs.
I love to focus on strategies designed to make communities more nimble and responsive to changing economic conditions (even before they have occurred), including demographic changes in population, technological innovation, and global competitiveness. I also work in real estate development and sales. After choosing two years ago to return to the Lowcountry, Brenda is now engaging in the world of economic and business development, where she had success in four different states and over 200 communities.
