BRING YOUR BRAND INTO FOCUS
Over the last 20 years, Haile has developed a creative process that is based on strategy. An articulated brand strategy will bring focus and clarity to your business and help guide projects like web design and brand refreshes. During this fast-paced working session, Haile will lead you though brand exercises that will challenge the way you think about branding and uncover your core brand attributes.
Meet Haile McCollum of Fontaine Maury:
Haile’s work transforms communities, businesses, and non-profits through brand strategy and design.
Haile is always asking “why not” and drawing lines around ideas. She is a consultant, designer, and speaker who has over 25 years of experience working in branding and design-related roles.
She is a creative thinker with business sense, who loves technology, spreadsheets, paintbrushes and Adobe Illustrator equally. Currently, she runs Fontaine Maury, a 3 woman branding and design studio based in Thomasville, Georgia.
In addition to running Fontaine Maury, Haile is the Creative Director of Thom, a bi-annual arts and culture magazine. In the past, she has worked with artists and companies worldwide to license designs for consumer goods including Disney, Walmart, Target, Shutterfly, and others.
Meet Wendy Keefer of Cellar Experience:
Wendy spent nearly 20 years practicing and teaching law. She loved the law but knew that she wanted to branch out into other things that sparked her passion. An amateur collector for years, Wendy knew she wanted to dig in and learn more about wine. While pursuing more formal training in all things wine and taking a job in the wine industry, she realized she wanted to share what she learned with others with the goal toward removing the confusion and intimidation that often cloaks wine in mystery. Opening Cellar Experience was the culmination of that goal. Wine brings everything Wendy loves together - geology, geography, history, science, and art.
Meet Paige Hutzler of AR Workshop, Mt Pleasant:
Paige Hutzler, Charleston, opened AR Workshop Mt. Pleasant which is an extension of the NC-based design company Anders Ruff. AR Workshop is a hands-on boutique studio and store where visitors can create their own handmade, mixed-media pieces – everything from framed and plank wood signs, to canvas wall hangings, to chalkboard art, pillows, décor and more. And it all takes place in guided workshop sessions that allow customers’ creative juices to flow, while still ensuring consistent, high-end results.
For the past 5 years, Paige has been working out of her garage making distressed picture frames that she sold thru Etsy. As soon as she heard about ARW, she was sold! A fun way to create farmhouse chic decor while hanging out with new people daily and not locked in her garage!
